Friday 9 November to Sunday 11 November 2007 —
GT. YARMOUTH LINEDANCE WEEKEND WITH SUNSHINE & STARS

It was touch and go 'weather' (sic) we made Gt. Yarmouth at all, with the Environment Agency predicting some of the worst coastal floods in decades. Sea defences in Gt. Yarmouth and Lowestoft were expected to be breached around 7:00am on the Friday morning, sending a torrent of water into the towns. Fortunately, the tidal wave didn't tie in with the high tides, and potential disaster was averted, although a few roads were closed due to flooding.

Once again we had a fun-packed weekend filled with social line dancing and about eight dances being taught - including Hills' and Daz's Chelsea Rodgers and Hills' latest dance Egyptian Reggae. On Friday night we celebrated Paul's 50th birthday!

We also came up with the mad idea of having a 'Guess The Rear' competition. Below the 'normal' photos - at the a..hem, bottom of this page - you will find a selection of those who consented to a rear viewing! We've put this into the form of a quiz. Perhaps we might offer a prize for the first correct entry emailed to us. Enjoy!
